A sixth tip for writing your wedding vows is to use phrases that you both know well and that will spark pleasant feeling during the citing of the vows. It may be a famous quote, a Scripture verse, a line from a song or part of a poem. If you have been together for some time and have actively invested in maintaining the flames of romance alive, there are probably a lot of options to choose from. Maybe you have a box of gifts, notes and cards that you received from your loved one. Take them out and look them over. You may find just the right words buried in this treasure chest. Something you have shared together in the past can be the perfection addition to the creation of your own wedding vows.
